Safe, reliable and environment-friendly new Visaginas Nuclear Power Plant (VNPP) is to replace Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and is planned to operate not less than 60 years. In order to implement this complicated project the assistance of experts of various fields and business will be necessary.

Tenders for Procurement of Services

During the period of preparatory works, construction and maintenance different tenders for procurement of services will be announced, for example:

• Consultations with regard to nuclear physics, engineering,  chemistry, ergonomics and economics (mainly during the preparatory works period),
• Designing and licensing (upon signing the agreement),
• Road design, construction, reconstruction and repair (while constructing and maintaining the infrastructure),
• Preparation of the construction site, other construction works,
• Nuclear technology maintenance,
• Installation and maintenance of energy equipment (turbines, generators, security systems, measurement systems, etc.),
• Repairs of different equipment (pumps, pipelines, bolt, etc.),
• Quality management,
• Object security, etc.

Specific requirements to be taken into account by tenderers will be defined in procurement documents.
